LOS ANGELES – Separated by 19.1 miles of scenic coastline, the LMU and Pepperdine men's water polo are set to play their first of two scheduled matches this season on Saturday. The sixth-ranked Lions (3-3, 1-1 WWPA) will host the Waves (2-1, 0-0 GCC).
Freshman
Tyler Harvey leads the Western Water Polo Association in two categories. He is the only player in the conference with double-digit assists, entering the weekend with 10. Harvey also leads the WWPA in steals, which was highlighted by his nine-steal performance on Saturday at CBU to tie the LMU program record for most in a single game.
This will be the first single game weekend on the schedule for the Lions. LMU was originally scheduled to play a second game on Saturday against Fresno Pacific, but that game will not be held this weekend.
The game will be available to watch live on the
