Day of Giving Page

LOS ANGELES – During the annual LMU Day of Giving, LMU Athletics garnered tremendous support from the campus community and beyond that surpassed its goal with its highest total amount of money raised ever. The Athletic Department's contribution was the best in the event's history.  LMU raised a total of $2.3 million in just 24 hours through the generous contributions of 4,441 donors. 

"Yesterday was a fantastic day for LMU and our athletic department," said Athletic Director Craig Pintens. "The outpouring of support was truly humbling. Thank you, everyone, that made yesterday so special."
 
This year, LMU Athletics saw a 75% increase in the amount raised from $257,207 to $449,031, from a university leading 1,460 gifts.
 
LMU would like to thank every Lions fan, coach, athlete, staff member, and faculty member who gave yesterday. A special thanks to the donors who provided Athletics Challenge gifts, including the Alliance of Women Philanthropists, Joe and Linda Bronson, Bryan and Maureen Costello, Norma Provencio, Lynne Scarboro, and Matt Heyn.
