SACRAMENTO, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's softball team lost its last game to Sacramento State this afternoon 3-1, going 0-3 in the series.
The Lions(6-5) put the first run on the board in the second inning, as
Taylor Keinath went in for the run, giving
Kaley Robinson the RBI.
LMU had eight total hits, compared to the Hornets' six.
Molly Grumbo went 3-3,
Desiree Moreno went 1-1, while
Andrea Gonzalez went 2-4 and Robinson went 1-2.
The Hornets responded in the third inning and scored three runs off of
Hannah Bandimere. The senior pitched six innings, allowing six hits and three runs, giving her a 1.81 earned run average.
The Lions will be back in Los Angeles next week for their home-opener against San Diego State this Tuesday at 2 p.m.
