LOS ANGELES – The regular season comes to a close on Thursday as the #13 LMU men's water polo team (13-10, 5-2 WWPA) hosts #8 Long Beach State (14-12, 1-3 GCC) this week at Burns Aquatics Center.
 
The Lions have clinched the three seed in the upcoming conference championships, but will have this top-15 matchup between the close of the regular season and the race for a conference tournament title.

The Beach have lost three of their last four games, including their last three conference games. LMU, conversely, are winners of three of their last four. This will be the fourth-straight home game for the Lions at Burns.

The two teams have not played this season, but closed out the season against one another last year in Long Beach.
