LOS ANGELES – At 3-1 in conference games, the LMU men's water polo team has an opportunity this week to separate from the middle of the pack and stay in a race at the top. The #13 Lions (10-9, 3-1 WWPA) open the week Thursday on the road at #19 Cal Baptist (12-13, 2-2 WWPA) before returning home to host Concordia (8-12, 3-2 WWPA) on Saturday.
Thursday night's game against the Lancers will begin at 6 p.m. from Riverside. CBU boasts a 5-1 record at home in games played at Lancer Aquatic Center. Tickets for the game will be sold at $7 for adults.
Saturday's game against the Eagles will begin at 11 a.m. from Burns Aquatics Center. This marks five straight conference games for the Eagles, who have gone 3-1 over that stretch. Admission is free for all fans.
One-loss LMU currently sits in third in the WWPA race, with both UC San Diego and UC Davis posting unblemished conference records.
The Concordia match opens a four-game home stretch at Burns to close out the regular season.
