LOS ANGELES - In an ongoing effort to improve modern-day fan experience, LMU Athletics has partnered with Zipwhip, a company that now allows you to text landline phone numbers.
 
The Lions will improve their day-to-day fan communication around ticketing, in-game experiences and services, summer camps, other general information and customer service. Fans can engage by texting the main athletics phone number (310) 338-5466 for help with any questions they may have.
 
Fans can try Zipwhip by texting #JoinThePride to (310) 338-5466 and those who do will be entered into a drawing for an Adidas LMU Swag Bag which will be given out at the Men's Basketball Game on Saturday January 12.
 
"We are committed to providing the best experience for our fans and with Zipwhip we have another avenue to communicate with fans quickly and provide them the latest information they need or would like," Associate Athletic Director, Community Engagement Michael Harris. "Texting is the way of the future as we know our fans are busy and sometimes do not have time to pick up the phone and call anymore."
