LOS ANGELES – After earning a conference win in their first Western Water Polo Association games of the season, both Loyola Marymount men's water polo (3-5, 1-0 WWPA) and UC San Diego (8-2, 1-0 WWPA) look to hand the other their first WWPA loss of the year.
 
The game is set for Wednesday evening at UC San Diego (Canyonview Aquatic Center), with a 6 p.m. start.
 
Currently ranked 11^thin the latest poll, the Tritons are coming off a 14-3 win over Fresno Pacific in their conference opener. Similar to how the LMU vs. Air Force game began on Saturday, UCSD jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back.
 
LMU had nine different goal scorers on Saturday including four goals from junior Alexandros Athymaritis and three from freshman Blazo Mitrovic. Robert Halligan picked up his first conference win as a goalkeeper.
