LOS ANGELES – Loyola Marymount's newest obstacle is the second-ranked UCLA Bruins in Westwood. LMU (2-4) fought tough against the two top-10 opponents they faced last weekend, and now have the 8-0 Bruins Saturday at 2 p.m. at Spieker Aquatics Center.
UCLA will be LMU's fifth consecutive game against a top-20 ranked opponent and sixth time in seven games this year.
Each of UCLA's eight wins this season have been by at least a seven-goal margin. The Bruins swept through the UCLA Invitational and the Princeton Invitational so far, with a Thursday night game against #7 UC Santa Barbara and a noon game on Saturday against #10 Pepperdine still on the schedule as well.
