LOS ANGELES – With the final two Western Water Polo Association games on the schedule for this week, the Loyola Marymount men's water still has their eyes set on a conference title. The Lions (11-11, 4-1 WWPA) face remaining conference unbeaten #9 UC Davis on Thursday, then visit #14 Santa Clara on Saturday to close out conference play.

The only 5-0 team in the WWPA, UC Davis (14-6, 5-0 WWPA) plays two games this week against 4-1 opponents in LMU and UC San Diego. This will be the second time that the Lions see the Aggies this year. Then-#7 UC Davis met LMU in the MPSF Nor Cal Tournament, and defeated the Lions, 16-7. The game will be played at night, with a 6 p.m. scheduled start.

The Lions conclude conference play at Santa Clara (10-10, 2-3 WWPA), Saturday at noon. The Broncos and Lions have yet to meet this season, but LMU defeated Santa Clara in the regular season last fall at Burns Aquatic Center, 10-8.

Both games will feature a live stream and live stats.

With two wins and a UC Davis win over UC San Diego, the Lions would earn the top seed for the conference tournament, Nov. 16-18.
