LOS ANGELES - With Wednesday's loss, the regular season is now over for Loyola Marymount men's water polo. The Lions fell to No. 7 Long Beach State, 20-6, in the home finale and now have sights set on the Western Water Polo Association Championships hosted by UC San Diego.
In Wednesday's game, LBSU led throughout, with LMU's goals scored by a trio of players each accounting for two. Neil LeVecke, Matt Braun, and Alessio Brunochelli each scored a pair for the Lions.
The three-day WWPA Tournament begins on Nov. 17 and will be hosted by UC San Diego.
