Oct. 22, 2015 LOS ANGELES -LMU men's water polo claimed a 17-12 win over Concordia at the Burns Aquatics Center on Thursday afternoon to start at two-game home stand. It was the Lions' fourth straight win, improving them to 7-10 on the season.
Jon Beck led the Lions with four goals and two assists as the Lions knock off the Eagles (4-13) for the second time on the season. Vuk Cvetkovic and Dayne Jagga added three goals each for LMU. Spencer Hosch led Concordia with four goals.
The Lions jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
LMU will host conference rival UC San Diego in a key match-up within the Western Water Polo Association on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 12 noon.
