LOS ANGELES - Former LMU rowing coach Jan Mazgajski passed away on Wednesday, May 8 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
A native of Warsaw, Poland, who rowed with the Poland National Olympic Team in 1996-76, Mazgajski was on staff during the mid-late 1990's and early 2000's. Most recently, he trained at the Long Beach Rowing Association.
Memorial service arrangements have been made for Saturday, May 18 from 2-3 p.m. at Gondola Getaway, 5437 East Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803. A reception will follow at the home of Dave and Rosie Sissons.
