LMU to Participate in 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade

LOS ANGELES< calif.="" --="" in="" honor="" of="" our="" centennial="" celebration,="" lmu="" will="" have="" a="" float="" in="" the="" 2012="" parade,="" funded="" through="" private="" donations="" and="" support.="" viewed="" by="" an="" audience="" of="" 40="" million="" in="" the="" u.s.="" and="" televised="" in="" 217="" international="" territories,="" lmu's="" participation="" in="" the="" rose="" parade="" marks="" a="" cornerstone="" event="" in="" our="" yearlong="">

It isn't the first time the university has participated in the event either -- the Loyola University Band appeared in the 1938 Rose Parade.

Participate in the centennial by helping us decorate the float, spread the word and/or consider a sponsorship opportunity. You can also join your fellow Lions in the reserved grandstand seating along the parade route to enjoy the festivities and cheer on our float.
