Long Beach, CA - The high winds that hit Southern California over the weekend were strong enough to create conditions too choppy for competition as the Long Beach Spring Regatta was cancelled before LMU's boats could hit the water.

"Unfortunately we were not able to get out on the water this weekend but the entire team is looking forward to the San Diego Crew Classic in a few weeks," Men's Varsity Coach Brooks Jones said. "We'll get back to work on Monday and see if we can continue to improve before the Easter break."

The LMU women will return to the water on March 29-30 at the Windermere Regatta at Redwood Shores in Palo Alto while the men will take an additional week off before the San Diego Crew Classic April 5-6.
