Gifu, Japan - Naomi Hoogesteger, who competed for the Lions during the 2004 season, made history last week as the first LMU Lion rower to capture a medal at Senior World Championships. Hoogesteger raced for Great Britain in the A final of the lightweight women's quad, placing third to gold medallists, Canada and silver medallists, Denmark.
