The LMU beach volleyball team will play a pair of matches this afternoon, traveling to Cal State Northridge and the CSUN Beach Volleyball Facility to meet the Matadors and Cal in a tri-dual. LMU will face Cal at 1 p.m. before meeting the host squad at 3 p.m. The match against CSUN will be live streamed on BigWest.TV.

LMU heads into play carrying a 6-7 overall record after most recently dropping a match to top-ranked USC on March 22.

The Matadors (2-4) are 1-2 on a current five-match homestand with a 4-1 win over Colorado Mesa followed by a 5-0 loss to No. 2 Pepperdine and a razor-thin 3-2 loss to Stanford. Cal comes in with an overall record of 8-4 after falling 5-0 in a dual match at top-ranked USC on Tuesday.

After Thursday's tri-dual, LMU will return to action on April 5 when it ravels to UCLA to square off with the Bruins and Cal Poly.
